PDF Workbench · Last updated: June 2026
Every PDF or image you open is processed locally, on your device, in your browser. Your files are never transmitted to us or to any server. When you close or refresh the app, the files you were working on are discarded from memory.
We do not collect any personal information — not your documents, name, email, phone, or location, and no analytics, identifiers, or advertising IDs.
To work offline and load quickly, your browser may cache the app’s own program files (a service worker cache). This contains only the app itself — never your documents. Some features (saved signatures and saved stamp presets, favourites, theme choice) are stored only in your browser’s local storage on your device and are never sent anywhere. You can clear all of this from your browser settings.
If you paste a PDF link, your browser fetches it directly from that address; we do not see or proxy it. The optional OCR feature downloads an open-source recognition engine to your device the first time you use it; your document is read on-device and is not uploaded.
No cookies, no advertising, no third-party analytics.
The app uses open-source libraries (pdf-lib, pdf.js, JSZip, SheetJS, and Tesseract for OCR) that run in your browser. They do not send your data anywhere; they may be loaded from a public CDN, whose servers see only the request for those program files.
Updates will be posted here with a new date.
